Last updated: 2026-10-24

Most restoration companies pay between $1,500 and $5,000 a month for agency marketing, plus ad spend. We charge $1,500 or $2,500 a month after a one-time Website Sprint, and every price we charge is on this page.

## What does RestorationFlow charge for restoration marketing?

RestorationFlow charges a one-time Website Sprint of $2,500, or $1,500 with Full Pipeline, then one of two monthly plans: Launch at $1,500 with 10 tracked calls a month guaranteed within 60 days, or Full Pipeline at $2,500 with 20. Ad spend is paid to Google directly.

| | Launch | Full Pipeline |

| Monthly price | $1,500 | $2,500 |
| Website Sprint (one time) | $2,500 | $1,500 |

| Review system | 5 to 10 new reviews a month | 5 to 10 new reviews a month |

### Which plan fits

**Launch** fits a one or two truck company working one city. **Full Pipeline** fits a company with two to six trucks that is losing storm calls or cannot answer after hours. At an average job of $4,000, one extra job a month covers either plan.

### The Website Sprint

Seven days, fixed scope: homepage, a page for each damage type you handle, 3 to 5 service-area pages, about and contact, click-to-call on mobile, an emergency form, call tracking, schema and Search Console. One revision round, and you own the site at launch. See [restoration website design](/restoration-website-design/) for the full list.

## What do restoration marketing agencies typically charge?

Most restoration marketing agencies do not publish prices. The figures that are published cluster between $1,500 and $5,000 a month for SEO and local work, plus ad spend when the agency runs Google Ads or Local Services Ads. Always ask whether an agency takes a percentage of that spend.

| Source | What they say |
| --- | --- |
| PushLeads, a restoration SEO agency | Quotes $1,500 to $5,000 a month as the industry range for restoration SEO |
| Web Tonic, a PPC-led agency | Plans starting at $3,000 a month |
| Thrive Internet Marketing | Intake form budget bands from $2,500 to $5,000 a month |

On top of the retainer, expect ad spend if the agency runs Google Ads or Local Services Ads. Ask any agency whether they take a percentage of that spend. We do not.

## How much do water damage leads cost from lead sellers?

Published estimates put water damage Local Services Ads leads at roughly $50 to $390 depending on the city, Google search ad leads at about $100 to $300, and shared marketplace leads lower but split between several companies. These are agency and vendor estimates, so treat them as ranges, not quotes.

Buying leads is the main alternative to an agency. Prices below are published estimates, mostly from agencies and lead vendors, so treat them as ranges, not quotes.

| Lead source | Published cost per lead | Source |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Local Services Ads, water damage | About $50 to $150 | [PushLeads cost per lead guide](https://pushleads.com/restoration-company-seo/restoration-cost-per-lead/) |
| Local Services Ads, water damage | Average about $156, ranging from about $83 to $390 by city | [Web Tonic, quoting a 99 Calls estimator](https://www.webtonic.io/blog/water-damage-restoration-google-ads-statistics) |
| Google search ads | About $100 to $300 | [PushLeads](https://pushleads.com/restoration-company-seo/restoration-cost-per-lead/) |
| Shared marketplace leads (Angi and similar) | About $15 to $85, sold to several companies | [PushLeads](https://pushleads.com/restoration-company-seo/restoration-cost-per-lead/) |
| Pay-per-call services | About $35 to $100 per qualified call | [Elevarus](https://elevarus.com/water-damage-restoration-leads/) |

A cheap shared lead is not cheap if four other companies call the same homeowner. Compare channels on cost per booked job, not cost per lead.

## Should you hire an agency, a freelancer or do it yourself?

Doing it yourself costs time and works if you have hours every week. A freelancer suits one clear task like a website. A generalist agency covers everything but treats restoration like any trade. A restoration-focused agency costs more than DIY but should measure and guarantee calls.

| Option | Typical cost | Good for | Watch out for |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Doing it yourself | Your time plus tools | Owners with a few hours every week and patience | Work stops when the busy season hits |
| Freelancer | Varies widely | One clear task, like a website or citations | Gaps in skills, no call reporting |
| Generalist agency | Often $1,500 to $5,000 a month | Companies wanting one vendor for everything | Restoration treated like any other trade |
| Restoration-focused agency | $1,500 to $2,500 a month with us | Owners who want calls measured and guaranteed | Ask how calls are counted and who owns the accounts |

## How do you work out marketing cost per job?

Divide what each marketing source costs in a month by the number of jobs it produced. To get there, pull your average job value, count calls from each source, and count how many became inspections and jobs. Cost per job is the only number worth comparing between channels.

1. Pull your average job value from the last 12 months.
2. Count calls from each marketing source for one month.
3. Count how many of those calls became inspections, and how many became jobs.
4. Divide the monthly cost of each source by the jobs it produced.

That last number is the only one worth comparing. Our monthly report gives you the call and inspection counts for every source we run, so you can do this math each month.

## What should you ask a marketing agency before signing?

Before signing, ask what exactly is guaranteed and how it is measured, who owns the website and ad accounts, whether they take a cut of ad spend, how leads are counted, whether they work with competitors in your area, the minimum contract, and to see a sample monthly report.

1. **What exactly do you guarantee,** and how is it measured?
2. **Who owns the website, the domain and the ad accounts** if we part ways?
3. **Do you take a percentage of ad spend?**
4. **How do you count leads,** and can I hear the calls?
5. **Do you work with my competitors** in the same service area?
6. **What is the minimum contract,** and what happens if results do not come?
7. **Can I see a sample monthly report?**

Good agencies answer all seven in writing. Our answers are on this page: calls guaranteed in CallRail, everything in your name, no cut of ad spend.

## What do you get in the first 90 days?

In the first week the new site goes live with call tracking. By day 30 the Google profile, Bing and Apple listings, citations and review process are running. By day 60 the monthly plan is producing pages and reviews, and by day 90 you compare calls against your baseline and guarantee.

**Days 1 to 7.** Website Sprint: new site live, call tracking installed, Search Console submitted.

**Days 8 to 30.** Google Business Profile rebuilt, Bing Places and Apple Business Connect set up, citations cleaned, review process started, first grid scan recorded as the baseline.

**Days 30 to 60.** Monthly plan starts. Service-area pages, steady reviews and profile posts. On Full Pipeline, Local Services Ads live and the after-hours receptionist answering.

**Days 60 to 90.** The guarantee window closes. You compare tracked calls against your baseline and the guarantee, and we set the next quarter's priorities from the data.

## What makes restoration marketing cost more?

Restoration marketing costs more in big metros with crowded map packs, in franchise-heavy markets where national brands push lead prices up, for companies with several locations that each need a verified profile, and for commercial work that needs its own pages and a longer sales process with property managers.

- **Big metros.** More competitors in the map pack and higher ad prices.
- **Franchise-heavy markets.** National brands with large budgets push lead prices up.
- **Several locations.** Each location needs its own verified profile and pages.
- **Commercial work.** Property managers and commercial jobs need their own pages and a slower sales process.

## Frequently asked questions

### Is there a setup fee?

The Website Sprint is the setup. It is $2,500 one time with Launch, or $1,500 with Full Pipeline, paid before kickoff. There is no other setup fee. Ad spend, where it applies, is paid to Google separately.

### When does the monthly plan start billing?

The first monthly charge is 30 days after your new site goes live. That gives the site and call tracking a month to settle before the growth work starts. The Website Sprint itself is paid before kickoff.

### What is not included?

Ad spend for Local Services Ads or Google Ads, which Google bills to you directly. Website changes after launch outside the plan work are $150 an hour. Licensing, insurance and anything Google charges for verification are also yours.

### What happens if you miss the calls guarantee?

That month is free. If it happens twice, we would rather sit down with you and agree whether to keep going than keep taking your money. Calls are counted in CallRail, so we both look at the same numbers.

### Do you have pricing for multi-location companies?

Yes. Companies with several locations or a lot of commercial work get a custom quote, usually $3,000 to $5,000 a month, covering more profiles, commercial pages and more link work.

### Is there a long-term contract?

Contract terms, including length and cancellation, are set out in the written agreement before work starts. Ask us on the strategy call and we will walk you through it line by line.
